Programme Manager

Our client, a leading player in the retail communications market, is seeking to recruit a Programme Manager to lead a large client WAN & Telephony Programme, ensuring that the deliverables are aligned with the businesses objectives and overall business strategy.
Key accountabilities:-
- Responsible for the Programme budget, and allocation agreed for each project, and communication to the Project Sponsor, Project Board and Delivery Committee.
- Matrix management of the project teams which will vary from project to project.
- Managing complex issues that may arise and facilitate resolution, providing advice, guidance and support to the team.
- Managing complex business change and people related activities.
- Effectively plan, estimate and budget complex projects within the business utilising internal and external resources and teams.
Candidates must have senior Programme Manager with WAN migration and networks experience, and knowledge and experience in one or more of the following - network development (fixed or mobile), systems implementation/software development projects, business change. Experience in the management of multiple concurrent projects is also required, along with strong team building and leadership skills.
