Audit Manager/Client Accountant

Our client, a leading accountancy firm, is seeking to recruit an Audit Manager/Client Accountant to join their team.

Duties will include:-
- Preparation of accounts from complete and incomplete records for a variety of clients.
- Audit of regulated entities, local trading companies, etc.
- Guernsey taxation - computations, completion of returns, advising clients and junior staff on taxation issues.
- UK taxation - advising on basic inheritance tax and capital gains tax queries.
- Assisting in the training and development of junior staff.
- Assuming responsibility for the management of the practice's relationships with a portfolio of clients.
- HR management - team management, appraisals, recruitment and training.
- Undertaking and overseeing some aspects of group compliance, from risk assessment and monitoring to client reviews, and deputising for MLRO.

Candidates should be ACA / ACCA qualified, have some experience of general practice, albeit within a specialised field, and be commercially aware, client focused and able to work on their own initiative when required.
