Our client, a global trust and corporate service provider, is seeking to recruit a Business Development Officer.


Guernsey, Channel Islands


Assist with the on-boarding process of new clients and maintaining high standard of service with a focus on preparation of supporting documentation such as proposals and letters of engagement.
Input and accurately record and maintain data on the New Business Pipeline.
Attend client meetings, industry shows and conferences as and when required.
Work with the Senior team and Corporate Communications to plan local networking events.
Liaise with clients, third parties and intermediaries where appropriate and support the Senior team with the generation of new opportunities.
Assist with the preparation of the monthly business development board reports as and when required.
Liaise with Directors and management in relation to new enquiries and the sign off of new clients.
Arrange meetings for the Business Assessment Committee as and when appropriate.
Ensure all necessary KYC documentation is requested and received for submission to compliance for acceptance purposes.
Assist with the development of marketing ideas in conjunction with the Corporate Communications Team.

Skills / Qualifications

The ideal candidate will be educated to Degree Level, with good English and Maths. Candidates will possess considerable experience in an Office Environment and hold or be studying towards a relevant professional qualification. Candidates will demonstrate solid IT abilities, strong organisation and communication skills, both written and verbal. The successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to effectively manage time, prioritise tasks and meet deadlines, whilst working within a team as well as independently. This role will suit a highly motivated, proactive and meticulous team player with excellent interpersonal skills.
