Contract Project Accountant

Our client, a leading international supplier of integrated facilities management solutions, is seeing to recruit a Contract Project Accountant for a period of 3 months.

Responsibilities

Prepare monthly management accounts and annual statutory accounts whilst liaising with auditors.
Produce management accounts & KPI data with associated commentary and analysis.
Calculate WIP with input from management team.
Process payroll, associated journals & wages control reconciliations.
Produce weekly cashflow forecast for CI group.
Prepare audit files, liaison with external auditors and assist FD with preparation of statutory accounts.
Ensure accurate accounting records are maintained and that balance sheet reconciliations are carried out for all accounts on a monthly basis.
Provide any other aspects of financial analysis as and when required.
Any other duties as requested by Finance Director

Skills / Qualifications

The ideal candidate will be educated to A Level standard or equivalent and possess relevant experience operating in a commercial finance role. Applicants will also hold or be studying towards a relevant professional qualification such as ACA, ACCA or ACMA, partly qualified applicants will also be considered. Applicants will demonstrate solid IT abilities, such as XERO and SIMPRO coupled with excellent organisation, time management and communication skills. This role will suit a hands on, proactive and detailed team player with solid interpersonal skills.
