New Business and Risk Review Officer

Our client a recognised global quality leader in the trust and corporate services sector, is seeking to recruit a New Business and Risk Review Officer.

Responsibilities

Act on all aspects of new client and new account opening and any subsequent sub account opening, including the thorough completion of all internal documentation.
Review client applications, completion of risk assessments, completion of all checklists, completion of Internet World Check and other relevant searches.
Review all documentation supplied by the client to ensure that it is complete and consistent. Liaise with the Intermediaries or PCS RMs as required in order to identify and obtain any required additional information in respect of any new client account take-on.
Carry out enhanced CDD for high risk and PEP relationships including liaising with the RM where necessary.
Undertake the daily control and monitoring of clients’ changes in administrator or trustee to ensure correct actions are taken during the transition and the required documentation is received to complete the transfer.
Update information following trigger events, and proactively identify errors and omissions which may stimulate the need for updated risk reviews and risk assessments.
Assist the team with risk reviews.
Support and manage any retrospective CDD exercises to support the needs of the business, including the Identification and rectification of errors and omissions.
Carry out ad hoc tasks as required from time to time and to own related projects that arise.
Assist the team with sample on demand as well as data input and scanning.
Consider the requirements for both FATCA and Common Reporting Standard for new and existing accounts and obtain information.

Skills / Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have considerable experience in a similar role along with a strong working knowledge of FATCA and CRS Tax Regimes as well as experience with account opening, CDD and risk review processes. Applicants will have solid IT skills, with experience of Vision Static Data Fields coupled with an analytical and pragmatic attitude to problem solving. The successful candidate will have excellent written and verbal communication and organisational skills, with strong time management. This role will suit a meticulous, inquisitive and influential team player with a confidant and amiable attitude.
