Trust Manager

Our client a long standing group leading the finance sector in wealth planning, management, investment services and various private banking facilities, is seeking to recruit a Trust Manager.




Actively develop and maintain working relationships with complex and/or high net worth clients, intermediaries and internal contacts.
Maintain the highest level of trust and company administration by monitoring the team’s timeliness, accuracy and output.
Act as a point of reference, in order to minimise business risk and to encourage a culture of compliance with policies, appropriate risk management, and use the principles of treating customers fairly.
Manage and develop a complex portfolio of company and trust structures.
Prepare resolutions and minutes as required.
Undertake cash management of client portfolio, including the control and clearance of fees.
Ensure that team and individual financial and non-financial targets are met, in order to maintain a sustainable fiduciary business.
Assist with completion of all budget calculations.
Develop and sustain a broad technical knowledge across products and services of the Bank, to ensure that the business is supported.
Update personal knowledge of intermediary and of the wealth management market.
Attend client meetings and maintain full, accurate files/notes of all meetings/calls/conversations.

Skills / Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have minimum of 10 years’ relevant trust and company experience, coupled by a relevant professional qualification, such as a STEP Diploma in International Trust Management, Associate of the Chartered Institute of Bankers/IFS, Trustee Diploma, Diploma in Trust and Estate Practice, Associate of the Chartered Institute of Secretaries & Administrators, or a Diploma in Offshore Finance & Administration. Applicants will have a good understanding of the relevant laws of the local jurisdiction and of the basic features of the different types of investment product. It is essential to demonstrate a solid working knowledge of Microsoft packages, along with good numeracy and communication skills. The successful candidate will have the ability to deal with conflicting demands under pressure and to encourage collective success. This role will suit a client oriented and approachable leader, who acts with integrity and in an ethical manner, leading by example at all times.
