Our client, a leading wealth manager, is seeking to recruit a Trust Relationship Manager.

Guernsey, Channel Islands

Responsibilities

Carry out day to day administration of a portfolio of structures holding a diverse range of assets
Adhere to the risk control framework of the Trust Group in relation to own client base.
Adhere to Service Quality Standards for Trust Management
Ensure adequate risk management and control in Trust administration team, satisfying fiduciary and regulatory obligations whilst delivering the required service quality levels
Deliver and attain Key Performance Indicators
Liaise with Relationship Managers
Maintain contact with clients
Liaise with investment managers, legal/tax advisors or other third parties regarding client affairs.
Consider client requests both with regard to tax implications and risk assessment
Draft Trustee resolutions and company minutes
Review legal agreements and documentation to be executed on behalf of client entities
Interact with all divisions of the Trust Group globally, including Legal & Compliance
Focus upon Data Quality within the Trust Management systems
Regular collaboration with Trust Accounting Operations for Guernsey, as required
Review financial statements for trusts and companies
Be involved in Trust Internal Audits, as required
Project self management and involvement in business initiatives for the Trust Guernsey/Group
Attend Trust presentations and other relevant seminars for CPD or job specific training

Skills / Qualifications

The ideal candidate will be educated to minimum A Level standard or equivalent, with good English and Math. Candidates will possess a minimum of 4 years’ experience in a relevant role and hold a relevant professional qualification. Candidates will demonstrate a range of experience and knowledge in Fiduciary Administration, Trust and Company Administration, in addition to solid IT abilities, strong organisation and communication skills, both written and verbal. The successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to effectively manage time, prioritise tasks and meet deadlines, whilst working within a team as well as independently. This role will suit a highly motivated, proactive and meticulous team player with excellent interpersonal skills.
