This is a great opportunity to join a leading financial services company as a Trust Relationship Manager.

Location

Guernsey, Channel Islands

Responsibilities

Carry out day to day administration of a portfolio of structures holding a diverse range of assets.
Ensure adequate risk management and control in the trust administration team, satisfying fiduciary and regulatory obligations, whilst delivering the required service quality levels.
Liaise with company relationship managers, investment managers, legal/tax advisors or other third parties regarding client affairs as necessary.
Draft trustee resolutions and company minutes.
Review legal agreements and documentation to be executed on behalf of client entities.
Regularly collaborate with trust accounting operations for Guernsey, as required.
Attend trust presentations and other relevant seminars for CPD or job specific training.
Adhere to the risk control framework of the company in relation to own client base and to service quality standards for trust management.
Review financial documents for trusts and companies.
Interact with all divisions of all the company globally, including Legal and Compliance.
Undertake any other duties as requested of the role.

Skills / Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years' relevant fiduciary sector experience, with strong demonstrable knowledge of fiduciary administration and a deep understanding of trust and company administration. It is essential to the role to possess strong relationship building, influence and consultation skills. They will be organised and capable of working both as part of a team, as well as on their own initiative with the ability to handle a portfolio of clients with minimal direct supervision. The successful candidate will have strong interpersonal and numerical skills and will be willing to assist in the workload coverage of trust and company administration, as well as producing accurate work whilst working to short deadlines. They will maintain consistent and continuous service across multiple client relationships and respond appropriately and promptly to clients' issues, requests and complaints. The role will suit a motivated and customer orientated individual, who is accurate with high attention to detail and strives for best practices and high quality service in a pressurised environment.
