Our client, a leading global wealth manager, with strong investment banking and asset management capabilities, is seeking to recruit a Trust Relationship Manager.

Responsibilities

Carry out daily administration of a portfolio of structures holding a diverse range of assets.
Adhere to the risk control framework of the company's Trust Group in relation to own client base, as well as Service Quality Standards for Trust Management.
Ensure adequate risk management and control in the trust administration team, satisfying fiduciary and regulatory obligations whilst delivering the required service quality levels.
Deliver and attain key performance indicators.
Liaise with the company's relationship managers.
Maintain contact with clients.
Liaise with investment managers, legal/tax advisors or other third parties regarding client affairs as necessary.
Consider client requests both with regard to tax implications and risk assessment.
Draft trustee resolutions and company minutes.
Review legal agreements and documentation to be executed on behalf of client entities.
Interact with all divisions of the company's Trust Group globally, including Legal and Compliance.
Focus upon Data Quality within the Trust Management systems.
Maintain regular collaboration with Trust Accounting Operations for Guernsey, as required.
Review financial statements for trusts and companies.
Undertake involvement in the company's Trust Internal Audits, as required.
Attending the company's Trust presentations and other relevant seminars for CPD or job specific training.

Skills / Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years' relevant fiduciary sector experience, with demonstrable knowledge of fiduciary administration, the role of the Trustee and a deep understanding of trust and company administration. In addition to good numerical skills, applicants will have strong personal skills, including authenticity and an ability to leverage diversity of thinking, good interpersonal skills and communication skills. The successful candidate will be able to produce accurate work whilst working to short deadlines and ambitious objectives, and will be able to work both as part of a team as well as on own initiative. This role would suit a motivated, performance/customer oriented individual who is eager to foster teamwork by establishing and maintaining positive working relationships with peers, management and clients. If you are willing to assist with workload coverage where necessary, able to manage a portfolio of clients with minimal direct supervision, and offer consistent, continuous service across multiple client relationships, then our client would like to hear about you.
