Our client, an international group of fiduciary and fund services is seeking to recruit a Trust Director.

Comply with Guernsey legislation and regulations
Jointly responsible for the client administration department including client matters.
Supervising and supporting the client administration.
Accepting appointments of subsidiary entities as applicable
Working with the Client Relationship Manager and Team Leaders.
Maintaining an awareness of new products and services offered by the Group to facilitate cross selling and marketing as appropriate.
Supporting the management team to ensure that the administration teams maintain regular visiting schedules for the team’s clients, intermediaries and new business contracts.
Attending conduct meetings as appropriate
Assisting the Associate Compliance Officer and Team Leaders to ensure that all annual reviews in the department are completed within the required timeframes.
Monitoring income streams and trends within the teams.
Remaining abreast of local and international legislative updates and to lead in the development and recommendation of new procedures.
Moitoring and developing fiduciary procedures to ensure efficiency and recommend enhancements where appropriate.
Authorising payments, reviewing and authorising transactions and documentation and acting as an ‘A’ authorised signatory.
Carrying out annual and bi-annual appraisals for management staff.
Establishing quarterly objectives and monitoring to ensure the management team are achieving targets set.
Providing guidance to and assisting in identifying the training requirements within the department.

Skills / Qualifications

The ideal candidate will be educated to an A Level standard or equivalent, with good English and Math. Candidates will possess a minimum of 15 years’ experience in a Trust and Company environment and ideally with Management or Directorship experience. Candidates will hold a professional qualification such as STEP or ACIS and will have knowledge in eDocs, 4 Series , Virtual Boardroom, as well as demonstrating solid IT abilities, strong organisation and communication skills, both written and verbal. The successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to effectively manage time, prioritise tasks and meet deadlines, whilst working within a team as well as independently. This role will suit a highly motivated, proactive and meticulous team player with excellent interpersonal skills.
