Our client, a global quality leader providing a broad range of high-end legal and financial administrative services to corporations, funds, financial institutions and private individuals from every corner of the world, is seeking to recruit a Trust and Corporate Services Manager.

Guernsey, Channel Islands

Responsibilities

Work with solicitors, investment managers, accountants, tax advisors and banking personnel on all matters relating to the management of company and trust activities.
Receive, check and distribute incoming post.
Review and countersign team’s standard outgoing e-mails, faxes and letters.
Act as a B signatory on Bank Signing Schedules.
Carry out full review of financial statements for final approval and signature by Director.
Monitor and release team’s time sheets.
Attend formal TCS Managers Meetings.
Review in conjunction with the four eyes procedure company, trust and various other legal and banking documents.
Monitor team’s compliance review points and ensure that group administrators resolve these review points in a timely manner.
Invoice fees and debt management, and ensure that debtors are chased by the team in a timely manner.
Provide input and sign off for the Fiduciary Investment Services team’s monitoring service.
Review and initial company and trust minutes and resolutions.
Develop and implement company procedures within the framework of the company's policy.
Assist with recruitment as required.
Ensure that the internal prevention of anti-money laundering and terrorist financing procedures and policies are complied with.
Ensure that Guernsey AML and terrorist financing regulations are complied with to the extent required by your role.
Report suspicious activity or transactions, client due diligence and record keeping.
Provide honest feedback on performance in a constructive way to staff throughout the course of the year and, specifically, during Appraisal time in June and December.
Encourage staff to develop themselves through providing adequate training and development.
Provide a strong communication ethos between Manager and team members and to encourage staff to communicate effectively themselves and with all members of the team.
Maintain awareness of Group business strategy and to provide suitable opportunities for staff members.
Participate where possible in social events organised for staff and management.

Skills / Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role, and hold a relevant professional qualification such as STEP, ICSA or ACCA. Candidates will possess strong IT abilities and excellent organisation and communication skills, coupled with solid time management. The successful candidate will demonstrate the abilities to adapt to challenges and work independently whilst meeting deadlines. This role will suit a motivated, proactive and attentive team player with excellent interpersonal skills.
