Our client, a specialist in wealth management is seeking to recruit a Trust Administrator/Officer to join their busy team.

Location

Guernsey, Channel Islands

Responsibilities

Day to day management and administration of a portfolio of trusts, companies and foundations with a wide variety of asset classes.
Managing the property portfolios of structures within the portfolio.
Monitoring the performance of investment portfolios and take remedial action where necessary.
Setting up and maintaining accurate and complete records for trusts, utilising existing technology.
Attending to client needs in a timely, professional manner and maintaining knowledge and control of assets and activities of structures administered.
Ensuring compliance with all policies, procedures and relevant legislation.
Assisting in the training and development of other staff members.
Maintaining and reviewing accurate data on all client files.
Recognising and identifying potential problems and risks and report these appropriately.

Skills / Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years' experience in Trust and Company administration, with an understanding of international trust concepts and practices. They will have the ability to build and maintain relationships with current and new clients / intermediaries and to manage fiduciary relationships, whilst ensuring timely responses to clients. In addition occasional travel will be required. The successful candidate will be able to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing when dealing with clients and colleagues. Along with this they must be highly organised, keeping updated in relation to new developments in fiduciary services and products.The successful candidate will be able to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing when dealing with clients and colleagues.
