Our client, an international group of fiduciary and fund services is seeking to recruit a Trainee Trust and Company Administrator.


Guernsey, Channel Islands


Assistance in the general administration of a wide range of Trusts and Companies managed by the team.
General correspondence with clients, banks, advisors and investment managers in relation to the portfolio of clients.
Deal with statutory requirements for corporate clients including Annual Validations or Returns, Annual General Meetings and maintenance of Corporate Registers. Ensuring diaries are in place for all recurrent activities.
Set up offshore trusts and companies in a variety of jurisdictions.
Input and maintain corporate and trust database information.
Assist in the undertaking of trust and company reviews for all client structures to be completed in accordance with company policy.
Support in relation to Banking and Investment Transactions carried out.
Utilise on-line banking facilities to check and reconcile account balances for the various client trust and companies and to make transfers and payments where applicable.
Liaise with stockbrokers and investment managers in relation to investment portfolios held.
Deal with banking and safe custody requirements for investment transactions for trust and companies managed by the team.
Reconcile investments held for trust and corporate clients with valuations provided by stockbrokers.
Ensure all fee income is collected regularly for structures under the teams administration.
Maintain regular time sheets with a target time charge rate of 85%.
Answer the main telephone when calls are on overflow.
Cover for the messenger when necessary and any other ad hoc duties.

Skills / Qualifications

The ideal candidate will be educated to an A Level standard or equivalent, with good English and Math. Candidates will be willing to study towards a relevant professional qualification. Candidates will demonstrate solid IT abilities, strong organisation and communication skills, both written and verbal. The successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to effectively manage time, prioritise tasks and meet deadlines, whilst working within a team as well as independently. This role will suit a highly motivated, proactive and meticulous team player with excellent interpersonal skills.
