Duties for this placement will include, but will not be limited to:

Ensuring proper completion of all documentation under the flexi-sheet and APS timekeeping systems.
Assisting, setting up and maintaining statutory records including minutes of directors and shareholders meetings, trustee resolutions.
Acquiring a good working knowledge of the computer system and post relevant information as required.
Completing day to day bookkeeping for companies and trusts up to trial balance.
Assisting, then with experience and training become competent in liaison with bankers over remittance of money, deposit accounts and investment transactions.
Opening trust and company bank accounts.
Ensuring that all office and departmental procedures are adhered to.
Liaising with brokers over investment transactions and settlement instructions.
Assisting and after training have a working knowledge of the formation of limited companies and setting up of new trusts.
Liaising with clients and associates by telephone and written correspondence.

Skills / Qualifications

A good educational background with a willingness to undertake and attain the ICSA Cert or STEP Certificate Qualification, effective communication, organisational and planning skills, along with proficiency in all relevant IT programmes, accuracy and attention to detail and ability to develop effective relationships at all levels are essential to the role.
