Our client, a leading offshore law firm advising international financial institutions, corporations and private clients, is seeking to recruit a Trainee Credit Administrator.


Guernsey, Channel Islands


Daily processing of automated reminders for unpaid client invoices.
Monitoring bank accounts for receipts, reconciling details and inputting transactions.
Liaising with Partners and Fee Earners in respect of their unpaid invoices and provide reports as required.
Dealing with internal and client enquiries such as account balances, breakdown of charges, copy invoices and alike.
Responsible for input and paying in of cheques and cash received.
Assisting with the input of invoices, transactions and related queries.
Ensuring that accurate data records are maintained and updated as requested.
Liaising with service providers, banks and other law firms.
Assisting with daily general office duties as and when required.

Skills / Qualifications

The ideal candidate will be educated to A Level standard or equivalent, with good English and Maths. Candidates will possess considerable experience a similar role in an Office environment and hold or be studying towards a relevant professional qualification. Candidates will possess solid IT abilities, strong organisation and time management in addition to excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. The successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to prioritise tasks, work independently and to strict deadlines. This role will suit a motivated and proactive team player with excellent interpersonal skills.
