Trainee Administrator

Our client, a provider of third party administration to private equity / unquoted funds, as well as to unit trusts and carried interest vehicles is seeking to recruit, a Trainee Administrator.

Location

Guernsey

Responsibilities

Undertake client reporting.
Making calls and distributions
Process Payments, Foreign Exchange and Bank Reconciliations.
Respond to client queries
Carry out bookkeeping.
Process transfers and sales of units, shares, interests, purchase and sale of investments.
Filing and scanning.
Ad hoc duties.

Skills / Qualifications

The ideal candidates will be educated to A Level standard or equivalent and be studying or hold a professional qualification such as ICSA. Applicants will have excellent written and verbal communication and organisational skills as well as solid IT knowledge. Preference will be given to candidates who have an understanding of legal regulatory and industry requirements coupled by knowledge of business processes, standards, policies and procedures. The successful candidate will demonstrate a hands on approach with the ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines, both individually and as part of a team. This role will suit a flexible and driven innovator with strong problem solving and interpersonal skills.
