Trade Support/ Operations

Our client, a newly established Fund Management company is seeking to recruit for the position of Trade Support/ Operations.




Provide client support on all of company products.
Carry out day-end trade booking.
Undertake Settlements.
Process Forex Payments.
Assess, design and implement solutions for a wide variety of operational issues and ensure that these solutions are managed and maintained once developed.
Timely and accurate handling of client requests.
Address key areas from which issues arise, whilst ensuring the interests of clients are always prioritised.
Process corporate actions.
Perform daily reconciliations of different products and systems in the areas of pre-trade, trade and post-trade. Perform month-end reconciliations.
Maintain involvement in ad hoc projects such as new product launches and enhancements.
Communicate with internal and external stakeholders in a professional manner.
Develop and improve operational relationships with vendors, banks and custodians.
Perform ad-hoc operational tasks that are required on a daily basis.

Skills / Qualifications

The ideal candidate will be educated to Degree level and hold a relevant qualification in either Finance, Investments, Economics, Business, or Accounting. Applicants will have solid IT skills, in particular, Excel, combined with excellent verbal and written communication and organisational skills. Preference will be given to candidates who have knowledge of VBA, Financial Markets and Investment Management, along with an understanding of Global Custody Systems. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong autonomous work ethic with an ability to complete key performance areas diligently and timeously. This role will suit a logical and meticulous team player with excellent interpersonal skills.
