Temporary Trust Administrator

Our client, one of the worlds’ largest financial services provider is seeking to recruit a Temporary Trust Administrator, for a period of 6 months.

Responsibilities

Assist with the maintenance of fiduciary structures with fiduciary specialists, RMs, clients and advisors.
Deliver timely responses to clients, relationship managers and associated fiduciary staff.
Ensure the correct and timely administration of fiduciary structures, including distributions/deposits, the safeguarding of assets and accurate maintenance of all required documentation.
Assist the accounts department with fee information and collection of fees.
Maintain accurate data on all structures, together with full documentation.
Acquire accounting knowledge to interpret financial statements and identify ledger problems, as well as a basic understanding of bank policies, procedures and products.
Recognise and identify other potential problems/risks and report these to the appropriate committee/MLRO/Compliance Officer/Team Leader and/or Managing Director.
Adhere to internal procedures and policies ensuring that all legal, ethical and regulatory requirements are understood and maintained.
Be aware of all relevant information concerning clients particularly KYC/CDD, PEP, SAR and Risk Status.
Review of bank account transactions, which include the review of the monthly bank statements, credit and debit advices.
Record transactions not authorised, as per internal procedures.
Undertake additional responsibilities, as agreed from time to time.

Skills / Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have a good academic background and some Trust experience, coupled by an understanding of AML and CDD related procedures relevant to the role. Applicants will be IT competent and able to prioritise tasks efficiently, applying high levels of organisation and accuracy. The successful candidate will be a flexible and adaptable team player, who demonstrates good communication and numeracy skills, as well as the ability to liaise with people at all levels.
