Our client, an international and cross jurisdictional provider of financial services, requires an Office Administrator for a period of 6 months.


Guernsey, Channel Islands


Ensure the office is running smoothly and efficiently.
Reading of photocopier meters.
Ensuring locks are secure and doors are fully functional.
Unpack stationery deliveries.
Assist with the archive process,ensuring that archive boxes are retrieved, sorted and organised in a timely manner.
Conduct clerical duties including filing, scanning, and answering phone calls.
Manage outgoing post.
Assist with the delivery of internal post, scanning relevant documents and distributing mail to individuals.
Maintain the tidiness of stationery cupboards.
Ensure that all items delivered to the office are logged and distributed in a timely manner.
Manage water orders on a weekly basis.
Provide cover for reception as required in a professional and welcoming manner.
Assist with administrative duties and ad hoc projects, as directed.

Skills / Qualifications

The ideal candidate will be educated to a minimum GCSE standard (Grade C or above) and will have previous experience in a similar role. The successful applicant will have good knowledge of Microsoft Office suites and the ability to work flexibly and provide cover for colleagues when necessary. The role will suit an engaging, positive individual, with a can do attitude and excellent communication, organisation and time management skills. The successful candidate will have a professional, calm manner, with the ability to work with the minimum of supervision.
