This role will be available from early October until June 2022, to cover maternity leave.

Responsibilities

Duties will include, but will not be limited to:

Providing an advisory role to members of staff and the board in relation to AML/CFT matters.
Reviewing CMP tests results and reporting findings to the board (either at their triennial meeting or sooner, if required).
Monitoring action points and recommendations from the CMP.
Providing support to the compliance administrator and compliance junior.
Signing off new and updated CDD documentation and various checklists and forms.
Updating and maintaining the compliance registers, including providing comment and sign off on breaches, errors and complaints forms.
Signing off on new business, attending and contributing to new business committee meetings for high risk client on-boarding (deal team).
Attending and participating in risk committee meetings which includes reviewing KRI stats.
Providing support to the family office and personal fiduciary licensee.
Acting as a member of the Operations Committee.
Providing a formal Report to the Board at their triennial meetings.
Acting as a point of liaison with respect to reporting to and communications with the GFSC.
Circulating regulatory developments and actions as issued by the GFSC to the Board.
Updating the High Risk Country list in line with changes to risk ratings.
Signing-off on high-risk client risk assessments.
Coordinating bank testing as required.

Skills / Qualifications

Confidence in presenting to the Board and other Senior Management, with a commitment to providing quality client service and strong written and verbal communication skills, along with a detail orientated and analytical approach, proven IT skills and skills in planning and monitoring workloads including self management in a deadline/volume driven environment whilst maintaining accuracy and focus are essential to the role.
