Our client requires a Temporary Finance Technician for their Captives Team.


Guernsey, Channel Islands


Deal with deposits, including observing and updating mandates, investment guidelines and board requirements.
Attend to payments and receipts prepared by the team, monitor cash and notify the Manager before the limit has been breached.
Organise Board meetings, including booking meeting rooms and circulating Board meeting dates.
Produce and circulate Board packs and prepare draft skeleton Board meeting minutes.
Ensure all documentation, correspondence and telephone calls are dealt with professionally, efficiently and accurately.
Adhere to the Office Procedures Manual, including preparation of risk assessment forms and completion of all necessary checklists.
Maintain an electronic filing system for each client assigned and ensure that scannings have been reviewed before archiving or being shredded.
Interact with various third parties in a professional manner.
Undertake any ad hoc roles, projects, report writing and research as needed.

Skills / Qualifications

The ideal candidate will hold a minimum of 5 GCSEs or equivalent and will ideally have experience within a similar administrative role especially with payments, however full training will be provided for the right candidate. The successful candidate will have a proven working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook and the ability to demonstrate ownership of assigned tasks from beginning to completion. The role will suit a well organised individual with solid communication, interpersonal and time management skills who uses their own initiative and can work independently and also a past of a team.
