Our client requires a Temporary Customer Relationship Agent for a period of 12 months to start immediately.


Guernsey, Channel Islands


Provide a quick and professional switchboard function in line with internal service standards.
Assist in the review and release of bills and answering customer queries.
Undertake all incoming data from internal and external customers on a daily basis and in an accurate manner.
Produce commercial and rechargeable bills and deal efficiently with enquiries from customers.
Offer support with implementing and explaining processes, procedures and policies to customers to ensure the collection of all sums due to the company within the normal terms of credit, while projecting the right image for the organisation.
Assist with customer billing queries in a knowledgeable and appropriate manner and offer support with advice.
Provide cover for the cash desk when required projecting the right image for the organisation.
Administer all incoming standing order forms, ensuring that they are accurately recorded and processed to the bank.
Offer support with evaluating customer credit worthiness, while maintaining and updating customers’ prepayment records and keys.
Assist with storing and archiving all information in accordance with established policies and procedures to enable quick retrieval and efficient handling of this information.
Undertake such other duties as may be allocated, and interchange of duties as required.

Skills / Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a similar position and will have proven sales skills. Good working knowledge of computerised systems and the ability to build strong working relationships is essential to the role. Applicants will be trained in customer management and have experience with cash management and security. They will have a good understanding of electrical equipment and appliances and demonstrate a current knowledge of the company's mission and objectives. The role will suit a pleasant and friendly individual with solid communication and interpersonal skills and a positive customer focus.
