A 3-6 month contract to provide support for the Migration Project and assist with duties across the compliance and AML/CFT functions.


Guernsey, Channel Islands


Duties for this placement will include, but will not be limited to:

Working with the line manager and system specialists to transpose hard copy onboarding processes and procedures into workflows to be built into Viewpoint ensuring that the approach demonstrates compliance across the Islands.
Assisting the Viewpoint system specialists in the design and testing of new onboarding workflows.
Working together with the administration teams in Jersey and the external Viewpoint consultants by coordinating the successful upload of relevant client data onto a new system.
Working with the business to identify initial and ongoing training needs across both islands and to coordinate accordingly.
Inputting data into Viewpoint on an ongoing basis as part of the migration project and monitor completion and accuracy of any data input by members of the administration teams using exception reports.
Reviewing existing procedures across both islands with a view to coordinating and creating a common approach.
Monitoring the effectiveness of policies, procedures and controls through the compliance monitoring programme and report findings to the line manager.
Assisting in identifying the due diligence requirements when onboarding new customers and where trigger events have occurred, ensuring compliance with the relevant regulatory requirements and internal policies and procedures.
Setting up new masterfiles on Viewpoint and inputting new clients and customers onto Viewpoint using the on-boarding workflow to support the administration teams.
Assisting the line manager with designing and creating reports from Viewpoint to enable effective management information to be reported to the Board.

Skills / Qualifications

This role is best suited to an individual with a good understanding of the regulatory requirements specified within the Handbook on Countering Financial Crime and Terrorist Financing and knowledge of the Viewpoint systems and an advanced knowledge of excel. The candidate should be self-motivated, organised and diligent and able to take ownership of various tasks.
