A fantastic opportunity has become available for an individual to join this Captive Management company as a Client Support Service Provider for a fixed term contract.


Guernsey, Channel Islands


Main duties include:
Assist in the management of a portfolio of (re)insurance companies under direction/supervision of Account Director/Account Manager.
The management team will interact with principally the owner/parent company of (re)insurance company, insurance regulator, directors, auditors, brokers and bankers.
Work closely with the underwriting team to ensure that each of our client companies’ reporting and control requirements are met in full, and on a timely basis.
Review and/or prepare Management Accounts, and any other ad hoc reports and budgets, forecasts etc. in a format prescribed by our clients.
Prepare and timely filing of all regulatory and statistical reporting requirements.
Cash management and reconciliation in accordance with instructions provided by the Board, including liaison with the company’s banks and investment managers and the production of appropriate reports.
Liaise with client director to coordinate client board and committee meetings and help in the preparation of associated board and committee papers, presentation materials.

Skills / Qualifications

The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate progression or hold a part qualified professional Accounting Qualification (CAT/AAT) or company secretariate (ICSA); and it would be advantageous to have experience in book-keeping, company secretarial, legal firm and company administration in Guernsey/UK. They will also ideally have knowledge of the captive insurance industry. They will have excellent oral and written communication skills, possess a professional outlook and be a team player. They must be confident, organised and have the ability to work independently as well as within a team. They will also have the ability to work to tight deadlines, producing high quality deliverables.
