An established trust and accounting firm is seeking a Client Accounting Assistant Manager on a 9 month temporary contract. The successful candidate will assist with team administration, oversee junior staff performance, and contribute to enhancing accounting processes.

Responsibilities
Review work prepared by junior team members, ensuring documentation is accurate and up-to-date.Prepare trust and company accounts, producing quality working papers with complete back-up documentation.
Analyse, interpret, and update accounts as needed following review processes.
Manage staff performance, coaching team members and monitoring progress to ensure development aligns with competency standards.
Collaborate with the Transformation team to develop new, automated procedures for accounts preparation.
Provide training and support to the team in accounts preparation.
Delegate and manage workloads, updating client accounting lists regularly.
Maintain strong working relationships within the team and other departments, meeting deadlines and supporting administrative requirements.
Skills / Qualifications
ACA or ACCA qualification (or equivalent) or experience in a senior client accounting role.In-depth accounting knowledge and technical expertise.
Strong communication and relationship-building abilities, effective organisation skills, and high attention to detail.
Collaborative approach, proactive and professional, with a commitment to best practice.
Ability to work autonomously, manage priorities, and meet deadlines.
Proficiency in relevant IT applications.
