Our client, a leading actuarial company, requires a Temporary CDD Remediation Analyst for a period of 6 months to assist with carrying out remediation on CDD records to ensure that they meet the requirements of the GFSC’s 2020 Handbook on Countering Financial Crime and Terrorist Financing.

Responsibilities

Reviewing existing CDD records using a CDD review template.
Assisting with documenting information from client records in the company’s CDD database.
Liaising with client managers to coordinate the risk assessment of medium and high risk clients.
Contacting clients, where required, to obtain additional information.
Acting as secretary to the CDD review panel for medium and high risk cases.
Maintaining a project tracker.

Skills / Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years relevant experience in the fiduciary, investment, or private banking sector with an awareness of Guernsey AML regulation. Applicants will have good written English, equivalent to GCSE Grade C or above and those with prior experience of carrying out CDD or working on compliance remediation projects will be preferred. The successful candidate will be confident speaking with a range of managers to resolve queries, with the ability to work to a project plan, including tracking tasks, preparing progress reports, ensuring that milestones are met and flagging issues early. The role will suit a well organised individual with good organisation skills and high attention to detail who will be comfortable with paperless processes and learning new systems quickly and the ability to write clearly and succinctly and meet deadlines.
