Our client, a large private bank that serves retail, private and corporate clients, requires a Temporary Client Acceptance and Review Committees (CARC) Administration Officer for the remainder of the year.

Guernsey, Channel Islands

Responsibilities

Undertake daily administration of CARC duties.
Prepare CARC files, including arranging and attending CARC meetings.
Maintain spreadsheets and prepare review lists, or reports as requested.
Produce and monitor action points.
Maintain the PEP Registration.
File all CARC documentation.
Organise the monthly Global Standards meeting, including preparation of agendas, attending the meetings and minute taking.
Participate in relevant team and committee meetings, representing the CDD CARC Administration Team.
Review and take appropriate actions with regard to client filtering, such as investigating alerts, liaising with the Relationship Managers, Account Managers, and recording the outcomes in the relevant system.
Report the results of filtering and be able to escalate and create action points where required.
Work closely with colleagues in Compliance, Risk, Legal and the COO department, under the management of the Head of the CDD Unit, to ensure that processes between departments run smoothly, efficiently and are effective.
Assist within other areas of the CDD Unit, as so instructed by the Head of the CDD Unit.

Skills / Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have solid secretarial and minute taking experience, preferably within a Banking environment, although other sectors will be considered. Applicants will have excellent keyboarding skills and will be able to type at least 60 wpm. The successful candidate will be a highly organised, proactive and thorough team player, who displays outstanding communication skills both verbal and written.
