Our client, a leading international bank, requires a Temporary CAR Specialist for a period of 6 months.


Guernsey, Channel Islands


Undertake Fiduciary Reviews and produce Review packs for existing clients, for completeness and validity, and identify any deficiencies vs established policies.
Perform system checks on the accuracy of Data captured in Cupid and AOD vis-à-vis supporting docs.
Act as the key resource for front line staff providing guidance and coaching on completion of Fiduciary Reviews.
Ensure accountability to follow up key activities to ensure execution of responsibilities.
Identify and escalate repeat errors to Business Manager, in order to create efficiency with the front line.
Follow the escalation process for any noted breaches to Group and Local policies.
Complete and accurate record keeping of all relevant communication with internal stakeholders in relation to the accounts that being reviewed or processed.
Comply to agreed Turn Around Times for assigned activities as detailed in the Document Operating Instructions and the Service Level Agreements
Identify procedural issues that impact delivery of responsibilities with suggestions improvements and work around.
Liaise with necessary frontline, counterparts and stakeholders across various Standard Chartered locations.
Maintain an ongoing awareness of new policy and procedure roll outs, especially that of AML/CDD
Work closely with the frontline and the Due Diligence team ensure seamless Fiduciary Reviews.
Display the company values when assisting our colleagues, Trust teams, RM’s and all other internal staff.

Skills / Qualifications

The ideal candidate will be educated to A Level standard or equivalent, with good English and Maths. Candidates will possess considerable experience in Fiduciary Services and hold a relevant professional qualification such STEP. Candidates will demonstrate a range of experience and knowledge in CDD, AML, Private Bank Procedures, Documentation Review vs Set Requirements, Account Opening and Periodic Reviews, in addition to solid IT abilities, strong organisation and communication skills, both written and verbal. The successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to effectively manage time, prioritise tasks and meet deadlines, whilst working within a team as well as independently. This role will suit a highly motivated, proactive and meticulous team player with excellent interpersonal skills.
