Temporary Banking Administrator

Our client, a large private bank, requires a Contract Banking Administrator for up to 12 months.

Responsibilities

Provide Banking, Securities and Treasury clerical assistance in the Banking Operations team and cover for other team members during absence.
Process client transactions including, outgoing SWIFT Transfers, Incoming SWIFT Transfers, Client Debit & Credit Card Settlements, Daily Clearing Processing, Internal Transfers, Client FX & Money Market Deals, Security Trade and Dividend Entry Processing
Accurate maintenance of client static data.
Audit requests.
Account closures.
Debit/Credit card applications.
Ensure company’s procedures are implemented and standards met.
Prepare trade settlements and processing of client entries.
Assist with the transfer of securities both internal and external.
Effect cash withdrawals and contributions to Discretionary managed portfolios.
Liaison with Client Services Team, other departments of the Bank and other Group offices.
Undertake other ad hoc duties as required including providing assistance to other areas of the Bank.
Provide office administration holiday cover as required.

Skills / Qualifications

The ideal candidate will be educated to A Level standard or equivalent, with good English and Maths. Preference will be given to applicants with considerable administration experience coupled with experience in Banking Operations or Payments. Candidates will possess solid IT abilities, excellent organisation and time management as well as strong communication skills. This role will suit a proactive and motivated team player with excellent interpersonal skills.
