Our client, an international provider of banking, wealth management and trust administrative services, requires a Temporary Account Manager for a period of 4 months.


Guernsey, Channel Islands


Undertake the day-to-day servicing of existing clients and the execution of their transactions.
Receive instructions, including payments, security trades, foreign exchanges, Fixed deposits and corporate actions from clients in person, fax, letter or by telephone, and carry these out directly or indirectly through the coordination of their completion by Banking Operations, ensuring that all necessary actions are taken for timely execution of the instructions.
Identify opportunities to cross and up sell the banks products and services and record these leads in the appropriate database.
Undertake daily communication with clients and be prepared to meet clients or attend client events as and when required.
Assist with and coordinate projects and large scale system tasks that may arise from time to time.
Provide assistance to other team members during busy times.
Assist in client periodic risk reviews, as and when required, in order to assess ongoing risks to the bank and to help with any KYC/AML shortfalls.
Ensure that all relevant and current rules, regulations and Bank policies are adhered to in respect of the clients, including the effective application of Anti-Money Laundering, KYC regulations and Group Minimum Standards policy.
Hold an awareness and actively contribute towards the financial targets and the revenue of clients.

Skills / Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have a good background in a front office client support role with a minimum of 2 years’ experience and a high degree of risk awareness and compliance orientation and an exceptional knowledge of T24 and other related banks systems. Good project management skills and a track record in working within a team is essential to the role, as is strong user awareness of IT skills. The successful candidate will have a trong ability to effectively support client relationships and to build relationships in conjunction with the Relationship Manager and the ability to think outside of the box and enthusiasm for change and the unexpected. The role will suit a poractive individual with excellent interpersonal skills and the confidence to suggest new ideas, innovation and process change to deliver for client requirements.
