Our client, one of the Channel Islands' leading accounting, tax and business advisory firms, is seeking to recruit a Tax Coordinator.

Responsibilities

Take responsibility for all new client take-on documentation and liaising with other departments as necessary.
Provide administrative and secretarial services.
Type correspondence, other documents and reports.
Create reports, documents and spreadsheets.
Make appointments, arrange meetings and maintain diaries.
Attend to clients and provide support in a professional and friendly manner in keeping with the company’s standards for client care
Monitor open client codes to ensure all relevant CDD requirements are met within agreed timeframe.
Act as an ambassador of the firm and builds a network of contacts.
Take responsibility for the annual review of tax permanent files.
Ensure engagement letters are issued and returned by client and authority letter is submitted to the relevant tax authority.
Assist tax team with the tracking of the status of client work, and assisting with allocation and progress of new work.
Coordinate and assist with management of the department’s billing, to include raising of fees on Drive, co-ordinating approval and the issue to client.
Assist Manager and Directors with management of WIP.
Act as a primary point of contact with the Finance Team regarding all Drive matters, including client codes, billing, debt collection, targets.

Skills / Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess a strong academic background, coupled with considerable experience in a relevant role. Candidates will possess solid IT abilities, such as Microsoft Office and various applications, whilst possessing excellent organisation, time management and communication skills. The successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to work within a team as well as independently, prioritise tasks and meet deadlines. This role will suit a motivated and proactive team player with strong interpersonal skills.
