Our client a large group with an international presence and wide-ranging expertise, specialising in life-insurance-based wealth management and employee benefit solutions to a global audience, is seeking to recruit a Support Analyst for their Online Systems, Information Systems Department .


Guernsey, Channel Islands


Lead and facilitate the progression of change and development initiatives, including project management, business and system analysis, from initiation to post-delivery benefit realisation.
Develop and exploit data structures from a number of different source systems and how they map back to the core underlying systems.
Lead and facilitate analytics and data mining using SQL server and other tools for research, project work and management information.
Write and execute system test plans for new software releases, clearly documenting all testing performed.
Update and maintain regression test packs with the release of each system change.
Write and update user training documentation for online projects, ensuring a consistent and appropriate training material design and approach is followed.
Investigate and evaluate emerging technologies and systems for suitability and applicability.
Communicate regular project updates to key business stakeholders using various means of communication methods.
Provide data investigation support and assist the rest of the online team.
Act as a communication point and triage to contribute towards the continued development and support of the Online Service Centre.

Skills / Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have 2 years’ experience in a relevant role, with preference being given to candidates with Wealth Management, Pensions, and Medical Insurance products as well experience with writing Business Requirements Documents or Functional Specifications. Applicants will possess solid IT abilities, such as Visio and Project as well as Microsoft Office, whilst qualifications in MS SQL, Business Intelligence, Data warehousing, Business Analysis or Project Management will be preferred. The successful candidate will have excellent communication and organisation skills along with the ability to prioritise tasks. This role will suit a proactive, motivated and meticulous team layer with solid interpersonal skills.
