Shareholder Services Administrator

Our client, a provider of multi-jurisdictional fund and fiduciary services, is seeking to recruit a Shareholder Services Administrator.




Dealing with the daily administration of the Funds administered by the Team, including preparing pre dealing reports, writing up deal tickets and issuing contract notes.
Collecting due diligence on new shareholders in accordance with the GFSC guidance and internal policies and procedures.
Reconciling the Funds client accounts on a monthly basis.
Preparing and paying dividends and distributions, as well as trail commissions and front end fees.
Making payments between client accounts and the Funds and to Shareholders.
Liaising with external service providers, auditors, bankers, investment managers and custodians.
Communicate effectively and concisely with other team members
Maintaining a courteous, positive and professional manner with both external and internal clients /colleagues at all times.
Ensuring quality daily service for team’s client portfolio.
Working on agreed training requirements and performance goals, to ensure ongoing development.
Consulting and escalating issues and exceptions to senior team members to alleviate problems, or risks.

Skills / Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess a strong academic background and previous relevant experience in a similar role, with an understanding of Fund Industry regulatory requirements. Preference will be given to candidates who demonstrate a commitment to a career in Funds and / or who have experience in fund accounting and share registration systems. Applicants will be able to use MS Word, Excel and Outlook, coupled by strong written and verbal communication skills. The successful candidate will be a flexible and analytical team player, who is detailed orientated and driven to provide quality client service. This role will suit a dynamic and highly organised individual, who can prioritise tasks according to the level of urgency and execute tasks with accuracy.
