Do you have experience in a first-line IT systems - and user-support role or customer service experience, with knowledge or experience of troubleshooting hardware, and a good understanding and technical knowledge of current PC operating systems and applications? If so, this could be the role for you.


Guernsey, Channel Islands


Duties will include, but will not be limited to:

Answering and responding to inbound calls to the Global Service Desk via Telephone, ITSM Platform or walk ups.
Acting as the Service Desk Representative to the local office.
Logging incidents and requests into ITSM Platform using correct and appropriate categorisations.
Ensuring timely resolution or escalation of Incidents and communicating on progress to end users.
Applying existing skills to resolve all software hardware requests or incidents that are raised to the Service Desk.

Skills / Qualifications

The demonstrated ability to apply IT systems and methodologies in solving business problems, with an understanding of Security and the role that plays in today's climate, and exposure to key systems such as, Citrix Administration, Office365, IP Telephony and Exchange Administration, along with excellent time management, team collaboration and communication skills, and the ability to conduct research into IT issues and products, and effectively prioritise and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment are essential to the role.
