Our client, a leading Trust company, is seeking to recruit a Senior Trust Officer.

Location

Guernsey, Channel Islands

Responsibilities

Undertake the management, supervision and coordination of daily administration of trusts and companies, including taking full mandate responsibility.
Maintain and develop personal contact with clients, advisors and other related parties, which will include some travel.
Take fiduciary decisions on the mandates assigned within Company guidelines.
Coordinate mandate specific transactions with bankers, lawyers, accountants, agents or consultants.
Undertake administrative overview and control of mandates assigned including financial, accounting and database reviews.
Offer technical support to more junior team members.

Skills / Qualifications

In addition to a STEP qualification and extensive experience in the administration of trust and company structures, the ideal candidate will have a solid, fiduciary background and experience in dealing with HNWI in a private banking/fiduciary environment. Excellent communication and client relationship skills are essential and the candidate should be professional and diplomatic in everyday working situations. The successful applicant will be able to guide, develop and train other team members, will have strong analytical skills, and be capable of problem-solving and acting independently on mandates.
