Our client is seeking to recruit a Senior Fund Administrator.


Guernsey, Channel Islands


Understand and interpret the fund’s documentation and the relevant legal framework, regulations and anti-money laundering regulations.
Follow company procedures at all times.
Assist in controlling and coordinating workloads in the section.
Offer support with the day to day work and training of administrators.
Oversee quality and control and meeting time deadlines.
Ensure work is undertaken in accordance with the company’s procedures and check lists, and meets deadlines.
Assist in ensuring all outgoing correspondence, calculations and presentation of work is of the highest standard.
Liaise confidently and knowledgeably with clients.
Prepare briefing papers, ensuring the smooth running of the section’s board meetings and AGMs.
Attend board meetings and assist with taking minutes and presenting reports.
Ensure AGMs are held annually, proxies and other notices are dispatched and responses monitored.
Assist with the smooth running of the investment, and call and distribution processes.
Provide support with the production of management, interim and audited accounts and support the section’s head with the production of accounts.
Undertake bookkeeping and review ledgers regularly.
Liaise with key personnel in client groups to ensure that all operational issues are communicated effectively.
Ensure all client requests are responded to effectively.
Communicate any client related issues of concern to the section’s line manager.
Attend and participate actively in regular team meetings.
Maintain on-going reviews and updating procedures for the company.
Manage workloads effectively and efficiently.
Ensure the compliance monitoring of the funds are adhered to by all of the team.
Act as a Signatory when needed.

Skills / Qualifications

The successful candidate will have previous experience in a similar role, ideally with some Co-sec experience and a general knowledge of banking systems. Applicants will hold or be working towards a relevant qualifications and will be able to demonstrate leadership and supervisory skills towards less experienced staff. The successful candidate will have a confident manner, strong IT skills and the ability to work on their own initiative. They will be a proven communicator with people at all levels, demonstrate excellent relationship building and time management skills and will have a proactive approach to problem solving. The role will suit a self-motivated team player, with a flexible approach to work, a commitment to delivering outstanding client service and the ability to work in a pressurised environment.
