Our client, an award winning Fund Administrator who provides high quality fund and fiduciary services, is seeking to recruit a Senior Associate for their Fund Alternatives Team.


Guernsey, Channel Islands


Ensuring the preparation and reviewing management accounts, valuations and other financial information is timely and accurate.
Maintaining and enhancing relationships with existing client portfolio and where necessary assist with the on boarding of new business.
Assisting with the handling and resolving of complex and unusual operation problems.
Liaising with auditors ensuring that financial statements are finalised and distributed.
Performing a period review/audit of the information provided and review financial statements.
Producing comprehensive accounting working papers for audit purposes
Reconciling the client accounts.
Assisting with the development and automation of system processes, implementing procedural changes necessary for continued growth of the department, and enhancing operating efficiencies.
Liaising with auditors and external service providers.
Presenting accounts at Board Meetings and discuss audit issues and findings.
Ensuring procedures are completed with regard to finalising and approval of financial statements, including processing any closing entries to ensure that the accounting ledgers are accurately maintained.
Assisting in the supervision and development of other members in the team.
Maintaining and developing expertise and providing advice to clients, demonstrating judgement and understanding of the business.
Dealing with ad hoc queries as and when required.

Skills / Qualifications

Candidates will possess 3 – 5 years’ experience in a valuations role or similar role or environment and demonstrate sound knowledge of Fund Administration, preparation of management accounts and other financial information. The candidate will be qualified or working towards their ACCA or ACA. Candidates will have a proven track record of meeting client deadlines and experience working with private equity funds, in addition to solid IT abilities, strong organisation and time management in addition to excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
