Senior Administrator, Private Equity

Our client, an international leader in the financial services sector, with a legacy of outstanding service for over a century, is seeking to recruit a Senior Private Equity Administrator.

Provide a premier client service by building strong relationships with the Investment Advisor and any other third parties.
Develop a thorough knowledge of your client and their bespoke requirements with regards to key processes.
Work closely with the client to resolve queries.
Work with other internal teams to ensure delivery of client deliverables.
Hold a good understanding of fund administration business.
Undertake a daily cash management process in line with a cash management policy and action ad-hoc cash management items as and when they arise.
Process invoices on the client’s bespoke system.
Arrange for amendments to loan facilities, as required.
Complete client monies and bank reconciliations on a monthly basis.
Process and review FXs, as needed.
Undertake the investor call and distribution process from end to end.
Deal with fund closings.
Complete the investor transfer process.
Process and review investor contact and bank detail updates.
Monitor investor audit confirmations.
Deal with investor tax reporting.
Monitor mailboxes, delegate to junior administrators, provide them with support and assist with workload, as applicable.
Act as a ‘B’ signatory and undertake necessary reviews in that regard.
Attend meetings with directors and write minutes timely including review.
Assist the client and lawyers with the formation and set-up of special purpose vehicles.
Adhere to constitutional documentation for ongoing entity operations.
Ensure compliance with all controls and procedures outlined in the procedures manual and general company policies.
Identify efficiencies and areas for improvement to reduce risk and become more efficient.
Ensure that technology available is being fully utilized in the most efficient manner and work with technology to resolve any issues and improve processes.
Work closely with legal and compliance to ensure all funds are in compliance with the relevant regulatory authorities.
Ensure full and proper reporting to your manager of any operational issues.
Where delays are expected to flag any service delivery issues as early as possible.
Ongoing review of daily controls and communications of any new ideas or suggested procedural changes.

Skills / Qualifications

The ideal candidate will be educated to an A Level standard or equivalent, with good English and Maths. Candidates will possess considerable experience as a Senior Fund Administrator with B Signatory Status and hold or be studying a relevant Business or Financial Services Professional Qualification. Candidates will demonstrate a range of experience and knowledge in Local Regulation, Laws and Sungard’s Investran, in addition to solid IT abilities, strong organisation and communication skills, both written and verbal. The successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to effectively manage time, prioritise tasks and meet deadlines, whilst working within a team as well as independently. This role will suit a highly motivated, proactive and meticulous team player with excellent interpersonal skills.
