Our client, a professional and dynamic organisation with a specialist approach to fund administration within the European Private Equity market, is seeking to recruit a Senior Administrator.

Guernsey, Channel Islands

Responsibilities

Prepare briefing papers and general documentation.
Attend board meetings, take minutes and present reports.
Ensure that AGM’s are held annually, proxies and other notices are despatched and responses monitored.
Liaise confidently and knowledgably with clients.
Assist with the smooth running of the investment and call and distribution process.
Provide assistance with the production of management, interim and audited accounts.
Undertake bookkeeping and review ledgers regularly.
Liaise with key personnel in client groups to ensure that all operational issues are communicated effectively.
Attend and participate actively in regular team meetings.
Make positive suggestions as to how effective changes can be made to improve the procession of workflow.
Review and update procedures for the Company.
Assist in managing and coordinating team workloads.
Provide training and development support to junior members of staff and Administrators.
Assist the Team Manager in the supervision, monitoring and appraisal of the team.
Provide cover to other sections in times of need.

Skills / Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years’ experience working in a private equity or funds environment to a senior level and will preferably hold a professional qualification such as ICSA, IFA or ACCA. Applicants will have strong IT and communication skills, as well as knowledge of general banking systems and company secretarial/compliance requirements. This role will suit a confident, flexible and committed team leader who is able to work under pressure and deliver pragmatic solutions, as well as applying excellent time management, supervisory and motivational abilities.
