This is an exciting time for our client with several positive changes and they are now looking for someone who can hit the ground running as a Senior Account Manager.


Guernsey, Channel Islands


Working closely with allocated clients to develop marketing and communications activity in an innovative and forward thinking way.
Collaboratively working with, and supporting, Account Directors on the development and execution of work, alongside members of the design and digital teams in both islands.
Managing allocated client workloads through the creative schedule, planning work and preparing briefs with client and/or teams in accordance with client requirements, budget and deadlines.
Undertaking administration responsibilities, such as submitting timesheets, billing, job management using agency software StreamTime and regularly updating client workload status reports.
Working with in-house creative, digital and social media marketers to develop client strategy and management of requirements for each client.
Assisting with duties such as media and print buying where necessary.
Proofreading and checking own and when necessary, others work - with great attention to detail.
Staying informed on current industry trends. Developing knowledge of industry and attending and/or viewing approved courses and reading relevant industry publications.
Achieving allocated client growth and new business sales targets.

Skills / Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years' experience in marketing within an agency environment or similar and will hold a relevant qualification such as CIM or IPA. Good interpersonal skills, and confidence in dealing with clients and suppliers, as well as the ability to motivate and work with creative and digital colleagues to achieve set goals is essential to the role. The successful individual will have a creative mind with good writing skills and will be reliable and discrete with the ability to work accurately and well when under pressure. They will be proven communicators with proven problem solving and time management skills and the willingness to learn. The role will suit a well organised individual with high attention to detail, a good sense of humour and the ability to work within a team but also independently

 as well as deliver to deadlines.
