Duties will include. but will not be limited to:

Ensuring suppliers are upholding their end of agreed terms and conditions, cost prices and discounts and highlighting all instances in which suppliers are failing to do so.
Assisting with the reconciliation of credit notes received values and quantities vs that requested.
Carrying out the reconciliation of goods received values and quantities vs that invoiced.
Highlighting instances of cost and retail discrepancies and raising subsequent credit requests if necessary.
Raising instances of quantity discrepancies with the relevant centre to establish whether or not deliveries have been receipted in incorrectly.
Preparing and Importing new product listings and updating current product data within the system database.
Creating and amending promotional offers as requested by the buying team and centres.
Raising pre-determined stock orders.
Maintaining EPOS system data.

Skills / Qualifications

Excellent communication skills and a confident telephone manner in order to liaise quickly and efficiently with centres, suppliers and buyers, with strong organisation and time management skills and an understanding of prioritisation of deadlines and workload, along with a proactive approach towards learning new skills, a clear and logical approach to all tasks undertaken and the ability to work accurately with attention to detail are essential to the role.
