Our client is seeking to recruit a Relationship Manager for their Trust and Corporates Swiss Markets team.


Guernsey, Channel Islands


Work closely with the client on-boarding and compliance teams to ensure all account opening and account, client risk assessment and monitoring in respect of AML/CFT procedures are followed and satisfied.
Contribute to team targets and objectives set in accordance with the company and the team’s agreed strategy, including self-initiation of relationship development and management, developing a contact strategy with existing intermediary clients, leveraging, existing and selectively establishing new relationships, ensuring adherence to local regulatory requirements and maintaining the highest risk standards.
Strengthen existing client relationships and identifying new, diversified income stream opportunities. This includes, inter alia, lending, foreign exchange and wealth management.
Collaborate with the wider company business and ensure that the deposit mix of tenures are appropriate with an acceptable balance between liquidity tenures and WACF.
Whilst the role is desk based in Guernsey, travel will be required on occasions.

Skills / Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have an industry qualification or the willingness to study towards one and have a good understanding of the regulatory environment, treasury, capital markets and lending. Applicants will have an overview of the investment markets, including bonds, equities, principal protected and structured solutions. The successful candidate will have strong levels of accuracy, an understanding of banking operations and detailed knowledge of the account opening, CDD and risk review processes and proven relationship and risk management skills. It is a prerequisite to have an awareness of the offshore Financial Intermediary market. The role will suit a self-motivated and goal orientated individual with strong interpersonal and influencing skills, excellent communication,presentation, organisation and planning skills and the proven ability to time manage.
