Our client a large banking organisation, offering private and offshore banking, as well as investment and asset management services, is seeking to recruit a Relationship Manager, for their Family and Corporate Team.

Responsibilities

Ensuring all account opening and anti money laundering procedures are satisfied prior to initial draw down.
Assisting with the marketing and PR initiatives when needed.
Responding to client requests including payments and draw downs etc.
Updating clients of upcoming interest payments due as well as monitoring and chasing where appropriate.
Managing loan facility excesses and chasing arrears where necessary.
Carrying out reviews of transactions and accounts on an annual basis for presentations to relevant credit committees.
Managing expiring and expired facilities and informing clients of their responsibilities.
Undertaking day to day management of the Guernsey Corporate Portfolio.
Managing lending deals through to initial draw down and all future draw downs where relevant.
Engaging with CLS in their drafting of relevant facility letters and documentation in line with Credit Minute.
Assisting in drafting new credit applications for presentation to the company’s Credit Committee.
Supporting the Head of Guernsey Corporates at meetings with prospective and existing private clients.
Assiting the Head of Guernsey Corporates with the analysis of new and existing clients and structuring of loan facilities.

Skills / Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have an understanding of finances and possess solid financial analysis skills and knowledge of lending procedures. The candidate does not need to come from a lending or banking background, however, must understand company accounts and be able to build a structure defining what the bank can do. The applicant must be numerically literate as well as possessing strong communication skills both written and verbal. This role will suit a self-motivated, driven and goal orientated individual, who applies strong evaluation, interpersonal and influencing skills, whilst being resourceful in creating solutions.
