Our client, a large private bank, is seeking to recruit a Relationship Manager.


Guernsey, Channel Islands


Act as the main point of contact for all bank’s services including responsibility for all aspects of client servicing.
Undertake the development of existing client relationships, harness opportunities to introduce clients to additional bank products and services and obtain referrals to acquire new business.
Carry out scheduled client risk reviews in order to assess ongoing risk categorisation.
Undertake credit reviews including re-pricing where appropriate.
Record important client relationship data using the relationship management database effectively.
Schedule Credit and Client reviews using the diary system.
Liaise with clients both locally and abroad as necessary
Examine account opening documentation, ensuring it is of an adequate standard to open a new account before submitting to the Compliance department.
Attend to KYC shortfalls in a timely fashion and performing EDRs where necessary.
Attend corporate events both locally and overseas in order to raise the public profile of the bank.
Provide assistance to other team members during busy times.
Support the Manager in the training of junior team members.
Maintain good relationships with other departments to ensure good turnaround times and effective communication flows.
Undertake ad-hoc duties as may be reasonably required.

Skills / Qualifications

The ideal client will be either RDR qualified or currently working towards a similar certification with a background in Trust and Company. Applicants will possess experience as a client relationship manager or a track record of managing client relationships together with strong interpersonal skills, customer focus and a robust work ethic.
