Responsibilities

Duties will include, but will not be limited to:

Managing e-mail and telephone calls.
Assisting the Relationship Managers with all aspects of account opening from providing the blank set of documentation to answering any questions with regards to the completion of the documents.
Reviewing the documentation for completeness.
Undertaking the initial risk assessment and liaising with other team members to arrange for the sign off of risk and also open the account.
Arranging client access to eBanking.
Reviewing and confirming that sufficient information is contained within the client profile, KYC and Investment Profile to proceed with the account opening.
Controlling client transactions, including payment control and authorisation, security trading, foreign exchange transactions, and fixed deposits.
Assisting with regular risk and documentation reviews and following up.
Providing support with Post Transaction Alert Management.
Answering any queries received from the RM and/or Client on Corporate Actions.
Assisting with on-going Compliance and Admin tasks which include KYC, CDD updates, regular and objective AML and risk assessments.
Chasing outstanding documentation from RM and Client.
Undertaking the annual review of Hold Mail Clients.

Skills / Qualifications

A good educational background, with a strong client focus and proven relationship building skills, along with solid IT skills, high accuracy and attention to detail, and the ability to establish and maintain a good working relationship with clients and other departments are essential to the role. Those with A Guernsey Financial Advice Standard (GFAS) level 4 qualification would be beneficial for the role but support would also be given to candidates who wish to study for this.
