Our client, a well established financial services provider offering premier services to the Channel Islands are seeking to recruit a Receptionist.


Guernsey, Channel Islands


Meet and greet clients, whilst ensuring they are dealt with by the correct member of staff.
Receive and transfer all incoming calls, between the hours of 08:45 and 17:30.
Undertake a range of administrative tasks such as processing internal and external mail.
Manage flights, taxis and hotel bookings with approval.
File and scan.
Compile letters and templates.
Order office supplies such as stationary and kitchen and maintain adequate stock levels.
Provide logistical support for meetings held in the Board Room and Meeting Room, including the preparation and arrangements for catering and refreshments.
Process customer payments.
Reconcile daily payments and bank funds accordingly.
Provide cover for Payaway.
Maintain various databases/spreadsheets etc.
Undertake additional duties as and when requested by the Directors and Operations Manager to ensure the effective functioning of all areas.

Skills / Qualifications

The ideal candidate will be educated to an A Level standard or equivalent, with good English and Maths. Candidates will possess considerable experience in Office Administration or Reception. Candidates will demonstrate solid IT abilities, strong organisation and communication skills, both written and verbal. The successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to effectively manage time, prioritise tasks and meet deadlines, whilst working within a team as well as independently. This role will suit a highly motivated, proactive and meticulous team player with excellent interpersonal skills.
