An individual who holds a PRINCE 2 qualification and who has completed (or in the progress of) their Chartered Tax Advisor exams is required to join and lead and develop this growing Tax team. For more information on this role, get in touch.

Responsibilities

Duties will include, but will not be limited to:

Deputising for the Group Operations Director in their absence.
Acting as the central point of contact for all procedural and subject matter questions relating to the Tax services.
Maximising the use of technology in all operational processes in order to control risk and improve efficiency.
Understanding the system design and how it is applied.
Suggesting technology improvements in pursuit of efficiency.
Acting as the central point of contact for company process maps and guides relating to the Tax services.
Scoping the annual delivery of the FATCA service as a project involving all relevant stakeholders.
Developing an appropriately detailed project plan to monitor and track progress.
Delegating project tasks based on junior staff members’ individual strengths, skill sets, and experience levels.
Managing changes to the project scope, schedule and costs.
Measuring performance using appropriate project management tools and techniques.
Reporting and escalating to management as needed.
Creating and maintaining appropriate project records.
Ensuring that all FATCA-CRS and Withholding Tax activity is undertaken within a systemised and defined process.

Skills / Qualifications

Effective IT capabilities, with excellent communication skills and the confidence in maintaining strong relationships with management, along with a proactive approach, high attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently and accurately are essential to the role.
