A professional level qualification in one or more Cloud disciplines from Microsoft, AWS or VMware and have a solid understanding of networking principles at a minimum of CCNA level, with Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Azure experience are essential to the role, as is Office 365, provisioning, and migration including DNS, AD, OneDrive and other integrated infrastructure requirements.

Responsibilities

Duties will include, but will not be limited to:

Assisting with the migration of customer workloads to Cloud platforms.
Collaborating on migration and discovery workshops and overall design.
Providing professional consultancy supporting around infrastructure technologies, including Cisco networking, security and Wi-Fi technology.
Liaising with customers and prospects regarding design of virtual infrastructures, networks, migration, and backup/DR strategies.
Developing strong collaborative relationship with other teams.
Proactively contributing to continuous service improvement with ideas and suggestions.
Assisting with mentoring and guiding other team members in their specialist areas of technology.
Drafting and creating documentation for new systems, services and technologies including procedures.
Prioritising and managing time alongside stakeholder expectations to deliver for internal and external customers whilst balancing BAU activity and projects.
Maintaining and growing relationships with staff and technology partners, to enhance customer value.
Liaising with customers and prospects regarding design of virtual infrastructures, networks, migration, and backup/DR strategies.

Skills / Qualifications

Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Azure experience, with experience of IT infrastructure, including hardware, operating systems, storage, virtualisation, security devices as well as backup and replication technologies and a proven background of providing great customer service, along with knowledge and experience of ITIL, ISO27001 and PCI-DSS, high levels of accuracy with excellent time management and organisational skills and the ability to achieve successful outcomes in handling difficult situations and work with various customers and management levels are essential to the role.
