Duties will include, but will not be limited to:

Managing and administering a portfolio of complex trusts and companies including preparation of correspondence as required.
Liaising with lawyers, accountants, tax advisors and banks on all matters relating to the management of a complex portfolio of private wealth clients.
Assisting to ensure all administration tasks are followed through to completion in a timely manner, including tasks delegated to other members of the Team.
Providing on the job training and guidance for less experienced members of the Team.
Ensuring that all client files are up to date and that Minutes and Meeting Notes have been drafted accurately with an appropriate level of detail.
Carrying out a first review of accounts prepared by the Accounts Team and ensuring that they are received and signed off by Manager/Associate Director in accordance with agreed timelines.
Countersigning own standard outgoing e-mails, faxes and letters as well as those for the Administrators as and when requested by the Manager.
In the absence of the Manager, liaising with Associate Directors and Directors on all client matters.
Reviewing, in conjunction with the four eyes principles, company, trust and various other legal and banking documents.
Ensuring that invoicing of fees and debt management, for own portfolio is managed in a timely manner, and for Team members if asked to do so by the Manager.
Liaising with Fiduciary Investment Services department and providing them with the required client valuations in a timely manner.
Actioning any compliance review points and ensuring that these are completed in a timely manner.

Skills / Qualifications

Prior relevant experience gained in regulated finance or professional services, with a sound educational background, and a relevant qualification, or similar (or willing to work towards one), along with solid IT skills, good organisational and time management skills whilst providing a first-class client service, and the ability to meet deadlines are essential to the role.
