Our client, an international and highly regarded wealth management firm, is seeking to recruit a Private Equity Consultant.

Learn background and gain knowledge of clients and entities within the team.
Effective communication with clients, directors, investors and other associated parties.
Deal with investor queries in a professional, efficient and timely manner.
Undertake bookkeeping duties for more complex transactions.
Assist with cash management and money market trades for specific entities.
Complete the drawdown and distribution process.
Comprehend the drawdown/distribution figures provided by the client.
Liaise with the client and investors regarding receipt/payment of monies.
Create and maintain trackers for receipt of monies/payment of distribution and returned monies.
Act on client instruction and ensure approval process is followed.
Implement payment and receipt of funds procedure.
Correctly record receipt of documents and deal with them appropriately.
Ensure the receipt of funds is correctly recorded.
Oversee investment reconciliations on a quarterly basis within the deadline.
Understand the role of the Company Secretary.
Prepare accurate board packs and company minutes in a timely manner.
Transfer of shares or limited partnership interests.
Understand the process applicable to the entity.
Understand anti-money laundering regulations.
Oversee outsourcing activities.
Understand the process and responsibilities of oversight.
Liaise with colleagues in other jurisdictions.

Skills / Qualifications

The ideal candidate will be educated to minimum A Level standard and will ideally hold a relevant professional qualification such as ICSA. Applicants will possess prior experience in Private Equity or Funds and will demonstrate strong time management and organisational skills. Candidates will demonstrate a range of experience and knowledge in Regulatory Topics, Guernsey Company Law and Investran. The successful candidate will have solid IT skills, the ability to learn new systems and processes and will be proficient at team work and independent project work. The role will suit a driven and customer centric individual with effective communication skills and the ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure.
